Ages 4 – 4th Grade • Sunday evenings 6:00 – 7:30 pm

AWANA is TABC’s ministry to help families in the all-important task of training their children to love and serve God. Each meeting begins with Opening Square in the gym and then the children rotate by age group to stations for counsel time, handbook, and games/crafts. Through these activities, children learn God’s word and how to apply it to daily living. They practice godly habits in game time and students discover the joy and peace found in living God’s way. Throughout the year, AWANA hosts fun family nights and a Christmas program in December.

Ages 3 – Kindergarten, West Building
Key Verse: 1 John 4:8

At story time Cubbies learn about God—the greatness of His love and His Word—and about His son, Jesus Christ, the promised Savior. This program is designed to come alongside parents in introducing children to the foundational truths about God in order to build a lifelong respect and trust for Him.

Kindergarten – 2nd grade, South Building
Key verse: John 3:16

Sparks is a self-paced program, allowing children to work through their handbook individually. Parents are encouraged to work with their children at home.

3rd – 4th grade, South Building
Key verse: Ephesians 2:8-9

Children in the T&T age group learn longer Bible passages and are challenged to use the verses they learn to live God’s way. They must be able to say their verses from memory—with only one help on at least two different meeting nights—to earn an award.
