For Men Only

Men’s Bible Study, 11:00 a.m. Sunday, East Building Room 206—Begins January 7.
Guardrails by Andy Stanley. They’re everywhere, but they don’t really get much attention . . . until somebody hits one. And then, more often than not, it is a lifesaver. Ever wonder what it would be like to have guardrails in other areas of your life—areas where culture baits you to the edge of disaster and then chastises you when you step across the line? Your friendships. Your finances. Your marriage. Maybe your greatest regret could have been avoided if you had established guardrails. In this six-session study, Andy Stanley challenges us to stop flirting with disaster and establish some personal guardrails. Cost is $8. Facilitated by Sam Tovar.

For Women Only

Childcare is available if requested in advance for Women’s Studies.

11:00 am Sunday. East Building, Room 205— Begins January 7.
Reclaimed by Christy Fay. Have you wondered if your life mattered? Have you ever felt tossed aside or written off as useless or worthless? Have you ever felt like you didn’t quite belong? The unlikely and surprising presence of five women in the genealogy of Jesus teach us an important and life changing lesson. They are proof that there is nothing we have done that can ever disqualify us from a life chosen and used by God, a life that is reclaimed. In this six week bible study you will get acquainted with five women (Tamar, Rahab, Ruth, Bathsheba, and Mary) found in the lineage of Jesus. As you study the stories of these women and the God at work in the midst of their lives you will uncover that same God at work in your own life. Facilitated by Lori Tovar. Cost is $14.

9:30 – 11:30 am Tuesday, South Building Room 1— Resumes January 9
The Gospels. We will begin with the birth of Christ and walk with Him throughout Judea, Samaria, Galilee, and the surrounding areas. We will be with Him as He heals the sick, teaches repentance, and trains His disciples. Finally, we will be with Him during His last hours on the cross, hear His last words, see Him in the upper room after the resurrection, and watch Him as He ascends back to the Father. We will get angry, laugh, and cry. In the end, we will shout for joy. Facilitated by Sandy Cook. No cost. Childcare is not available for this study.

9:15 am – 11:00 am Wednesday. West Building Lobby—Starts January 10.
All Things New by Kelly Minter. All Things New is an 8-week study of 2 Corinthians, written by the apostle Paul to the Corinthians. Similar to our cities today, ancient Corinth was full of both electrifying experiences and spiritual depravity. Discover with author Kelly Minter that each of us still has a message to proclaim. The old is gone; the new has come. Facilitated by Jenn Martin. Cost is $13.

9:30 – 11:30 am Wednesday, East Building Room 205—Starts January 10.
Amazing Collection—Old Testament is a very unique Bible Study. The material allows women who are new to God’s Word to comfortably begin their journey while a seasoned Bible student experiences ‘aha moments’ as she sees the pieces of God’s Word fit together.

6:30 - 8:00 pm Wednesday. East Building, Room 101— Resumes January 10.
