This eight-week course will focus on the Holy Spirit:

  • Who is the Spirit?
  • The Spirit is a gift...and He gifts us. A look at spiritual gifts.
  • Being led by the Holy Spirit
  • Try, try again to follow the Holy Spirit’s leading. How we fail and how Godforgives.

This class will be facilitated by Rich Arnold. Rich is a retired pastor and he and his wife Patty recently joined the TABC family from Leavenworth, KS.

Childcare is available if requested in advance.

9:30 – 11:30 am Tuesday, The Gospels
South Building Room 1. Facilitated by Sandy Cook. No cost.

We will begin with the birth of Christ and walk with Him throughout Judea, Samaria, Galilee, and the surrounding areas. We will be with Him as He heals the sick, teaches repentance, and trains His disciples. Finally, we will be with Him during His last hours on the cross, hear His last words, see Him in the upper room after the resurrection, and watch Him as He ascends back to the Father. We will get angry, laugh, and cry. In the end, we will shout for joy.

9:15 – 11:00 am Wednesday, Stronger: Finding Hope in Fragile Places
by Angela Thomas
West Building Lobby. Facilitated by Jenn Martin. Books are $13.

Through biblical teaching and real life application, this study teaches that believers do not have to live in weakness. God is stronger than every struggle you will ever face. All who receive Jesus Christ have been hidden in Him. We have been made alive in Him through the forgiveness of our sin, filled in Him with all the fullness given to Him, brought near to God in Him, and blessed with every spiritual blessing in Him.

9:30 – 11:30 am Wednesday, The Amazing Collection: Old Testament
East Building Room 205. Facilitated by Carrie Lowery. Books are optional and cost $10.

The Amazing Collection is a very unique Bible Study. The material allows women who are new to God’s Word to comfortably begin their journey while a seasoned Bible student experiences ‘aha moments’ as she sees the pieces of God’s Word fit together.

6:30 – 8:00 pm Wednesday, The Gospels (description above)
East Building Room 206. Facilitated by Sandy Cook. No cost.

Sunshine Sisters is an exercise class led by Deon Hall that meets in the West Building on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. The class is a stress-free, friendly group of women that exercises, line dances and stretches together. A daily scripture is shared and an opportunity for silent prayer is offered. There is no cost to attend. A yoga mat is suggested. Contact Deon at deongollhall@gmail.com for more information.
