3rd grade: Room 101 • 4th grade: Room 104

The Good News Kids focus on internalizing God’s Word—helping children to learn the importance of reading the Bible daily and how to love and obey His commands. The Good News Kids have a special focus on missions and how missionaries locally and around the world are sharing God’s Word with others. The children participate in a “hands on” mission project—working together to fill bags for Twelfth Avenue’s annual Christmas mission trip to Mexico.

Boys: Room 107, Girls: Room 105

The theme verse for CrossTrainers comes from Hebrews 12:1,2: “Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus.” Each week we study the race God marked out for a person from the Bible. Kids are encouraged to apply the lessons from that person’s life to their own lives, and to think about the race God has marked out for them. For a missions emphasis, we have adopted a family who is currently serving in the Philippines.
