At the Tuesday, Oct 13th Congregational Meeting, the following motion was approved by more than two thirds of the majority voting members. Motion: I move that Twelfth Avenue Baptist Church approve proceeding with the proposed building project at 2023 W. 12th Avenue, generally consistent with the scope and design presented to the congregation on September 15th, 2026. This includes a $4.2 million capital campaign and authorizes the Deacons and those designated by them to proceed with final design, fundraising, and implementation of the project. If the location or exterior building design is
materially changed, or if the total project cost is expected to exceed $4.62 million, the project must be brought back to the congregation for further approval, or any financing by the church is needed, then this also must be brought back to the congregation for approval.
